My name is Dr Amrita Bhogal
I would like to Introduce Myself
As a qualified dentist, I have always had knowledge about anatomy and the skin and in 2017, AKB Aesthetics was created. Starting off with the common aesthetic treatments such as ‘Botox and Fillers’, I felt I wasn’t able to fully meet patient expectations and so my exploration into aesthetics and skin began.
As a busy mum of 3, that work life balance was so important for my own mental health and in September 2021, I took that leap of faith to take a career break from Dentistry and focus on my business. I am so much happier and my family are now getting the best of me. I am giving everything into this new chapter and I have recently received a Level 7 Diploma qualification in Clinical Aesthetics.
Primarily located at the Happy Body Project Wellness Centre in Bedfordshire, I take an holistic approach to treatment and one size definitely does not fit all.
For me, it’s about Pro-ageing, we all have to do it but why not slow down the process and age as well as we possibly can. So this is where my love for skin really began. I wanted to treat patients holistically and starting with the skin just made sense. I love treating all skin conditions from acne skin, teenage skin, pigmentation, rosacea and sensitive skin as well as dull, tired, aged skin.
Improving skin health and quality is so rewarding as not only does it give someone confidence, but it also allows my other treatments to work exceptionally when I have the best possible canvas.
Skin, aesthetics and wellbeing, all rolled into one – allowing patients to get the full package knowing they’re in the safe hands of a medically trained professional, who has an artistic eye for detail.”
